Driver sd needs updating bustype

RADEON_DEBUG=ioctl ./progs/trivial/clear for me seems to use a copy buffer but it might be a local issue. The debian maintainer of bug 388453 asked me to reproduce this with the latest kernel, so here it is. tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.

However the drawable stamp update seems wrong in the current r200 code. 2009-03-01 PST --- I've gone ahead and added an AGP quirk for your system: a7f465f73363fce409870f62173d518b1bc02ae6 -- Configure bugmail: Downgrading (well, performance wise, there's no such a big difference) to AGP 2x (rather than the default AGP 4x) fixed the issue. Adding Bus Type "AGP" with the default AGP 4x setting makes the system more stable... I'm getting ~2800fps with glxgears but the system will eventually lock hard.

I searched for the line "Driver 'sr' needs updating - please use bus_type methods " on google.

I found this: https:// Doing "modprobe sr" yields Is it possible that the non appearing dvd is ide/ata/atapi connected?

Hey, I just bought a laptop a few weeks ago and I installed the 64 bit Arch. Firefox windows dragged, Mplayer was unusable for video files that were fine on my desktop that is less powerful, VLC ran alright as long as the window was tiny.

In general the laptop runs extremely sluggishly, is overheated all the time and its battery lasts about 20 - 30 mins.

I am not sure if it is useful, but I managed to instruct GDB to output a list of all of the lines executed starting with OGL_DISABLE(TEXTURE_2D) in arch/ogl/gr.c line 436. What I have done is to first break at main/gauges.c:2789, continue once to get to this breakpoint a second time, then break at arch/ogl/gr.c:436. tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. There is an open bug in the debian bug tracking system on this, with more info:

However, the second one does not seem to be recognized at all.

Both drives are recognized in the BIOS, therefore the issue is clearly software related, and not hardware related. Hence Gentoo was installed from this drive and the installation went flawlessly.

After I rebooted from the installation, mounting /dev/sro /mnt/cdrom mounts my other drive, not the one I used for installing.

Anyway, I'm attaching what I think is relevant.uname -a:.0 Host bridge: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] RS780 Host Bridge .0 PCI bridge: Hewlett-Packard Company Device 9602 .0 PCI bridge: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] RS780 PCI to PCI bridge (PCIE port 0) .0 PCI bridge: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] RS780 PCI to PCI bridge (PCIE port 1) .0 PCI bridge: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] RS780 PCI to PCI bridge (PCIE port 2) .0 PCI bridge: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] RS780 PCI to PCI bridge (PCIE port 3) .0 SATA controller: ATI Technologies Inc SB700/SB800 SATA Controller [AHCI mode] .0 USB Controller: ATI Technologies Inc SB700/SB800 USB OHCI0 Controller .1 USB Controller: ATI Technologies Inc SB700 USB OHCI1 Controller .2 USB Controller: ATI Technologies Inc SB700/SB800 USB EHCI Controller .0 USB Controller: ATI Technologies Inc SB700/SB800 USB OHCI0 Controller .1 USB Controller: ATI Technologies Inc SB700 USB OHCI1 Controller .2 USB Controller: ATI Technologies Inc SB700/SB800 USB EHCI Controller .0 SMBus: ATI Technologies Inc SBx00 SMBus Controller (rev 3a) .1 IDE interface: ATI Technologies Inc SB700/SB800 IDE Controller .2 Audio device: ATI Technologies Inc SBx00 Azalia (Intel HDA) .3 ISA bridge: ATI Technologies Inc SB700/SB800 LPC host controller .4 PCI bridge: ATI Technologies Inc SBx00 PCI to PCI Bridge .0 Host bridge: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] Family 11h Hyper Transport Configuration (rev 40) .1 Host bridge: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] Family 11h Address Map .2 Host bridge: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] Family 11h DRAM Controller .3 Host bridge: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] Family 11h Miscellaneous Control .4 Host bridge: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] Family 11h Link Control .0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RS780M/RS780MN [Radeon HD 3200 Graphics] .1 Audio device: ATI Technologies Inc RS780 Azalia controller .0 System peripheral: JMicron Technologies, Inc.
